Norman City Council Will Vote on $1B district

Norman City Council will soon vote on a plan for a one-billion-dollar entertainment district despite strong resistance from a citizens group. They are asking the state supreme court to require plan approval by a vote of Norman residents first. The city will pay about 600 million dollars through a tax increment district.
