Republican Voters Favor McCall in New Statewide Poll

Former House Speaker Charles McCall now leads the Republican primary race for Oklahoma governor by more than 11 points over Attorney General Gentner Drummond.

The Co-efficient poll, conducted last week, surveyed 855 likely Republican primary voters across Oklahoma. The data show that 38 percent of voters remain undecided, 31 percent support McCall, and 20 percent back Drummond.

Runoff Scenario Strengthens McCall’s Lead

When asked how they would vote in a runoff between McCall and Drummond, respondents increased McCall’s margin. The results show McCall leading 42 percent to Drummond’s 25 percent. Analysts say the numbers reflect McCall’s name recognition and strong base in rural Oklahoma.

Political observers caution that the large undecided group could still shift the race. Campaigns are expected to intensify advertising and outreach efforts heading into the next quarter.

McCall’s team has emphasized his record as House Speaker, pointing to legislative accomplishments and conservative policy priorities. Drummond’s campaign, meanwhile, continues to focus on law-and-order messaging and state government accountability.

With months remaining before the Republican primary election, both candidates are likely to target Oklahoma City, Tulsa, and surrounding suburban counties where turnout will decide the outcome.
