Former Mannford Officer Admits to Multiple Crimes

A former Mannford police officer and school resource officer has admitted guilt in a case that shook the community.

Guilty Plea on Eight Counts

Matthew Waltman, former Mannford officer, pleaded guilty to all eight charges, which include sexually assaulting two teenage boys and providing alcohol to minors. He worked both for the Mannford Police Department and in Mannford schools before his arrest in March 2024.

A sentencing hearing is set for next month, and Waltman could face significant prison time.
