Long-time Tulsa civic leader and oilman Robert LaFortune dies

LaFortune died earlier this week at the age of 97. The Tulsa native served as Tulsa’s major from 1970 until 1978. Prior to that, he served as City Streets Commissioner. In total, he has served 7 elected terms.
