According to the Oklahoma Department of Corrections, Daniel Ackah was taken into custody on March 18, 2026, after an incident was reported earlier in the week.

Officials say the case began with a report filed on March 13, 2026.

The correctional officer arrested is now facing charges of:

  • Rape by instrumentation

  • Sexual battery

Following his arrest, Ackah was booked into the Cleveland County Detention Center.
