Lawmakers Voice Concerns about Tax-Free Weekend

Restrictions are pretty specific, as the sales tax-free benefit only includes clothes and shoes, aside from athletic apparel. The total must fall under 100 dollars.

In a bipartisan move, Representative Jacob Rosencrants and Senator Blake Stephens, who are both former educators, are trying to add school supplies to the list of tax-free items for that weekend.
