The war of words between a state lawmaker and a group of district attorneys has escalated. Republican Justin Humphrey is accusing the district attorneys of illegally collecting some fees amounting to a money laundering scheme.

County officials pushed back, saying Humphrey was acting “beneath the dignity” of the House of Representatives.
