The Innovation Expansion Project is helping businesses get 13 million dollars in loans which should add hundreds of jobs to the economy. The project helps businesses receive the loans they need, while also boosting the state’s economy.
Oklahoma Commerce Department spokesperson Jon Chiappe said 175 businesses are receiving help after filling out applications. He said those businesses will spend 90 million dollars expanding.
“Total job creation for the companies that are participating will be over 1,000 jobs,” Chiappe said.
