how many abandoned oil & gas wells are in Okla

It's just an estimate that there are over 20-thousand abandoned and unplugged oil and gas wells across the state.  Federal funds to continue work on around 5-thousand of those wells is now in doubt.  The list of unplugged wells grows almost daily as more are discovered with every housing development.
