Traveling Holocaust Exhibit Now Open to Public in Ada
National Exhibit Brings History to Southern Oklahoma
A traveling Holocaust exhibit sponsored by the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum is now on display at the Ada Public Library, giving Oklahomans access to powerful historical education without traveling to Washington, D.C.
The exhibit, titled “Americans and the Holocaust,” will remain in Ada through January 8.
Exhibit Explores National & Local History
In addition to documenting the Holocaust and America’s response during World War II, the exhibit also highlights what life was like in Ada during the 1940s, helping tie global history directly to the local community.
School Groups and Public Encouraged to Attend
Library officials say the exhibit is open to the public during regular library hours and is appropriate for school groups, families, and community members. The goal is to educate visitors about intolerance, civic responsibility, and the consequences of silence.
