Free World Cup Watch Parties Return To ONEOK Field In Tulsa

Soccer fans can experience World Cup excitement on the big screen without buying a ticket. Free World Cup watch parties are returning to ONEOK Field this week, giving fans the chance to watch both the USA and Mexico Round of 32 matches on the stadium's giant videoboard.

Admission is free for both events, and fans can choose to watch from the stadium seating or gather on the playing field while enjoying food specials and a chance to win prizes.

The events are part of a community celebration of international soccer as excitement builds around the tournament.

Free World Cup Watch Parties Feature USA And Mexico Matches

The free World Cup watch parties begin on Tuesday, June 30, when Mexico faces Ecuador at 8 p.m. Gates will open one hour earlier at 7 p.m.

The second event takes place on Wednesday, July 1, when Team USA takes on Bosnia and Herzegovina at 7 p.m., with gates opening at 6 p.m.

Fans attending either event can watch the action from the seating bowl or spread out on the playing field. Blankets are encouraged for those sitting on the grass, but lawn chairs will not be permitted.

Additional event information is available through the Tulsa Drillers.

Food Specials And Prize Giveaways Planned For Fans

Several concession stands throughout ONEOK Field will be open during both matches, offering a variety of food and beverages.

Specials include:

  • 75-cent wings

  • $4 Driller Dogs

  • $5 16-ounce domestic beers

Outside food and beverages will not be allowed inside the stadium, and all bags will be subject to security screening before entry.

Fans attending either watch party can also register to win a prize package that includes a $250 Scheels gift card along with four Home Plate Premium tickets to the Tulsa Drillers game and postgame fireworks show on Friday, July 10.

Additional stadium policies are available through the ONEOK Field Information.

Community Invited To Celebrate International Soccer

Organizers say the free events are designed to bring the Tulsa community together to celebrate two of the tournament's biggest matches in a unique ballpark atmosphere.

Whether cheering for Team USA, supporting Mexico, or simply enjoying an evening with friends and family, fans will have the opportunity to experience international soccer on one of Oklahoma's largest outdoor video displays.

Officials encourage attendees to arrive early to find seating before kickoff.

Additional tournament information is available through FIFA.

With free admission, family-friendly activities, food specials, and prize giveaways, the free World Cup watch parties offer soccer fans across Green Country a chance to enjoy the tournament together at ONEOK Field.
