The Governor insists, his plan to trim the state income tax will cost the state 202-million dollars.  But a growing number of experts are putting the number much higher.  OU Professor Emeritus Robert Dauffenbach says the cut would come in much closer to 650-million dollars a year. He points to the fact 2024 state revenues were down 900-million dollars from 2023 and the state is already facing a new budget with 300-million dollars less than that.
