Early Voting Locations in Oklahoma Vary Widely by County
A state Senate study has found that early voting locations in Oklahoma are not evenly distributed across the state, raising concerns about voter access in large population centers.
According to the study, Oklahoma County and Tulsa County each operate two early voting locations, while Cleveland County operates six, despite having a smaller population than Oklahoma County.
Senate Study Highlights Access Concerns
The study notes that counties with fewer early voting locations may experience longer lines, increased congestion, and reduced access for voters during early voting periods.

The findings have renewed discussion at the Capitol about whether Oklahoma’s early voting model adequately serves voters in larger counties.
How Early Voting Works in Oklahoma
All county election boards offer early voting Thursday through Saturday for most elections. For presidential elections, early voting also includes Wednesday.
Any changes to the number of early voting sites would require legislative action.
