DOGE cuts are expected at Tinker Air Force Base

Several published reports claim the cuts to the Defense Department will hit very soon if not already at Tinker Air Force Base.  One report put the number of job losses at 600 civilian workers.  Despite attempts by several public officials to get information all efforts have failed to get any solid information on how big or when the cuts will hit the airbase.
