DNA Solves A 50yr old OkC Cold case Murder

Nearly 50 years ago, the body of 68-year-old Lela Johnston was found in her Oklahoma City home. She had been raped and murdered. The Oklahoman reports the investigation ended in the cold case file until two years ago, when a Florida DNA lab used material from the crime scene and a family tree to track down the killer. Charles Droke is also dead, killed by his brother in the late 1980’s.
