Okla Department of Education Halts Bible Bids

For now, the state Education Department has canceled requests for bids to supply 55-thousand bibles for Oklahoma Classrooms.  Oklahoma Watch reports there was little explanation for the change except for an email saying a new request will be made for bids to ensure tax money is spent efficiently.   The process has been riddled with controversy from the beginning.
