A convicted killer is now back state custody and on death row. George John Hanson was serving time in a Louisiana federal prison. He was transferred at the request of Attorney General Gentner Drummond. Hanson was convicted of killing Mary Bowles in 1999. Bowles was kidnapped from Tulsa mall and found shot to death in a dirt pit near Owasso.
