Bill to Create Relocation Funds Clears Senate Committee

A bill that would create a relocation fund to help businesses bring new talent to the state has cleared a Senate Committee. Senator Jessica Garvin of Duncan authored the measure.

Initially, the bill calls for a fund of 16 million dollars.  The bill passed the committee on an eight-to-five vote.  The Commerce Department would administer the funds.
