Four more Oklahoma counties are added to the disaster declaration list following last week’s deadly tornados across Oklahoma. The addition of Johnston, Okmulgee, Pittsburg, and Wagoner Counties brings the number of counties in the emergency designation to 16.
The designation means the counties could be approved for federal emergency relief funding. President Biden has already declared a major disaster in three of the counties on the original list of 12. Those counties are Hughes, Love, and Murray. Federal funding will be available to individuals in those counties.
