A baby elephant joins the herd at the OKC Zoo

A new male Asian elephant calf has joined the herd at the OKC Zoo. The calf, named Xerxes was born earlier this week.  Zoo officials say both mother – Achara - and baby are doing well. There are now eight elephants in the zoo herd. Xerxes was the fifth baby elephant born at the zoo.
