Recent data from the Oklahoma State Department of Health is calling attention to the rising numbers of whooping cough in our state. Since January, there have been 162 cases of whooping cough which is a preventable childhood disease by way of immunization. That is the HIGHEST number of whooping cough cases in Oklahoma since 2017 when we had 207 cases.
