Walters wants his own set of rules for complying

The state Department of Education has a poor track record on complying with Open records requests. Now State Superintendent Ryan Walters wants to add forms for such requests and an exemption that records requests be made available in a prompt and reasonable time. Public comment on the proposed rule changes is now open.
