One-Vehicle Crash Sends Car Into Creek
Two teenage girls were killed and two others injured following a single-vehicle crash in Logan County, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.
The crash happened late Monday night on a gravel road near Charter Oak, between May Avenue and Penn Avenue.
Vehicle Fell 25 to 35 Feet Into Deer Creek
Troopers say the vehicle clipped a guardrail before plunging 25 to 35 feet into Deer Creek. Emergency responders pronounced two occupants dead at the scene.
The surviving teens were transported to nearby hospitals with injuries. Their conditions have not been released.
Crash Investigation Ongoing
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol continues to investigate what caused the crash, including whether speed, road conditions, or driver impairment played a role.
Names of the victims have not yet been released, pending notification of family members.
