25 years in prison and probation for life

A 26-year-old man who hit an Edmond police officer during a police chase in September of 2022 receives a sentence of 25 years in prison and probation for life. Garrett Trammell pleaded guilty to seven charges in connection with striking Sgt. Joe Wells. Wells injuries resulted in the loss of his leg.  Trammell did not have alcohol in his system but did test positive for THC.
