Tulsa Mental Health Provider Expands Care With Telepsychiatry

Patients at Family & Children’s Services of Tulsa will soon have expanded access to mental health care. Beginning December 1, the organization will offer telepsychiatry services, giving patients the option to meet virtually with psychiatric providers from the clinic’s Sheridan location.

Telepsychiatry Offers More Flexibility for Patients

The new program will allow patients to access psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and follow-up appointments through secure Zoom-based visits.

For many patients, this will reduce travel barriers and allow more consistent care—especially for those who need frequent medication adjustments or regular mental health check-ins.

Patients Can Use the Service as Often as Needed

Once the program launches, patients can come to the clinic and use designated telehealth rooms as often as required. Family & Children’s Services is one of the largest community mental health providers in Oklahoma, serving thousands of adults and children each year.
