the study of wildfire smoke

University of Oklahoma professor has a new job.  Marcela Loria-Salazar is named to a national panel of experts on a study of wildfire smoke.  She already leads a laboratory at OU that  studies the impact of wildfire smoke and how aerosols impact severe weather forecasting.  The frequency of wildfires across the planet have doubled over the last two decades.  Congress will get the results of the panels work in about a year.
