It won’t be happening overnight but the end of telephone copper land lines is now in clear sight. A T & T admits it is dumping it’s copper network in favor of wireless and VOIP phones which work on the internet. It will take time to fully eliminate the copper network since there are some state and federal regulations to get through first.
