Tessa Dorrell is crowned new Miss Oklahoma

A new Miss Oklahoma is crowned this weekend. Tessa Dorrell, Miss Broken Arrow won the Miss American preliminary. Dorrell is an Oklahoma State graduate. She was one of 40 contestants from across the state who competed in the competition. Dorrell walks away with a 30-thousand-dollar cash scholarship. She will represent Oklahoma in the Miss America Pageant in September.
