Tammi Didlot, a third-generation farmer, successful business owner, and lifelong conservative, officially announced her candidacy for the Oklahoma State Senate. With deep roots in Southwest Oklahoma and decades of leadership in agriculture, business, and community service, Didlot pledges to represent Oklahomans with integrity, common sense, and conservative values.

“I believe in an Oklahoma where families are strong, communities are safe, and opportunity is within reach for everyone,” Didlot said. “I’m running for the State Senate to protect what makes our state special, to support those who serve, and to ensure our children and grandchildren inherit a future full of promise.”

Tammi Didlot has Deep Oklahoma Roots and Proven Leadership

Raised on a farm and ranch in Jackson County, Didlot learned the values of hard work, faith, and personal responsibility early in life. She and her husband have lived in Moore for more than 25 years while continuing to operate the family farm, raising cattle, wheat, and cotton.

Before returning full-time to agriculture and community service, Didlot purchased and grew a successful background screening and drug testing company.

A proud graduate of Oklahoma State University, she became the first in her family to earn a college degree. She later endowed a scholarship to support first-generation students.

Didlot has served as president of both the Oklahoma CattleWomen and the American National CattleWomen, and remains a strong advocate for youth leadership programs like the Oklahoma Youth Expo and Oklahoma Youth Leadership Encounter.

Policy Priorities

If elected, Didlot says her top priorities in the Oklahoma State Senate will be:

Strengthening Oklahoma Communities

  • Supporting law enforcement, firefighters, and military service members

  • Ensuring safe communities while protecting freedoms

Protecting Agriculture and Food Security

  • Blocking foreign land ownership of Oklahoma farmland

  • Preserving farmland for production

  • Fighting misinformation about farming and ranching

Promoting Responsible Energy Policy

  • Supporting an “all of the above” energy strategy

  • Promoting energy independence without raising utility costs or harming farmland

Expanding Education Opportunity

  • Empowering parents and supporting teachers

  • Ending one-size-fits-all mandates that harm student outcomes

Growing Small Business and Local Economies

  • Cutting government red tape

  • Opposing tax increases

  • Supporting economic development in local Oklahoma communities

Safeguarding Privacy and Data Security

  • Protecting personal and student data from misuse

  • Ensuring technology works for citizens, not against them

Didlot’s Call to Service

“Whether I was leading in agriculture, running a business, or serving alongside my neighbors in Moore, I’ve always believed in stepping up when my community needs me,” Didlot said. “Now, I’m stepping up again to make sure Oklahoma remains a place where families thrive, businesses grow, and our freedoms are secure.”
