t.W. Shannon named USDA's senior advisor

Former state House Speaker T.W Shannon has been named the USDA’s senior advisor to the secretary for rural prosperity by President Trump. He ran unsuccessfully against then Representative Markwayne Mullin to fill the U.S. Senate seat vacated by the retirement of Jim Inhofe. Shannon, a member of the Chickasaw Nation, also served as CEO of the Chickasaw Community Bank.
