State Senate Veterans Affairs Approves Placement of Talihina Vet Home Funds

Members of the state senate veterans affairs committee approving legislation allowing the proceeds from the sale of the vacant Talihina vets home to go to the newest facility set to open later this year.
The Sallisaw home will hold 175 veterans. Once that home opens and if the state can secure a federal grant, the ground will be broken on a new home in Ardmore.
