State rep. Cyndi Munson is running for Governor

State Representative Cyndi Munson announced she is running for Governor. Representative Munson grew up in Lawton, the daughter of a single father in the United States Army and attended the University of Central Oklahoma. She first took office in 2015, becoming the first Asian-American woman elected to the Oklahoma Legislature.  Munson is also the first democrat to put her hat into the ring for the 2026 gubernatorial election.
