soon there will be two Level 1 Trauma Centers

If all goes according to plan, Oklahoma will soon have two Level 1 Trauma Centers. Tulsa’s Saint Francis Health System will partner with OSU to join OU Health Medical Center in OKC as certified level one trauma centers. Saint Francis is preparing for adult Level I Trauma verification by the American College of Surgeons, with a formal survey expected this year. After that, the process for pediatric Level I Trauma verification will begin.
