The Oklahoma County Jail has done something for the first time. Six inmates voted by absentee ballot. More asked for the ballots but were released before they arrived and others who also wanted to vote turned out to be ineligible. Convicted felons can still vote once their sentence is fully served. People with misdemeanors or just in custody awaiting trial are still eligible to vote.
