Several communities in eastern Oklahoma are picking up

The state emergency management agency says five counties suffered damage and three more possibly experienced damage during yesterday’s storms. Nearly 22 thousand homes and businesses, mainly in the eastern part of the state, are without power. The National Weather Service has confirmed a tornado in Pittsburg County that destroyed several homes and the Blanco Fire Department. The weather service is investigating several other possible tornadoes.
