Senator Dusty Deevers Pushed for Resolution to Energy Development Review Issues

A theory born before the Civil War that the states can nullify any federal law they see as unconstitutional was invoked on the floor of the state Senate. Senator Deevers has introduced a resolution that urges the federal government to expedite permitting and environmental reviews for energy development.      

The resolution, as written, has passed through the Senate.
