Senate Set to Attend Special Session June 26

Oklahoma lawmakers will need the extra time approved in the House to get their work finished.

The state Senate is now not expected to go back to work in special session until June 26. That means the session is likely to stretch into July as both houses move to override the Governor’s veto of a pair of bills involving compacts with Indian tribes on license plates and tobacco.
