Arrest Made Nearly 30 Years After Shooting
A Sand Springs woman, 62-year-old Angie Cutnose, has been arrested in connection with the 1997 shooting death of Todd Sanseverino, who was 32 at the time of his death.
Original Incident
Cutnose originally claimed Sanseverino came to her home to purchase a gun when it accidentally discharged. She was arrested in 1997, but charges were dropped after her boyfriend confessed to the shooting.
New Information Leads to Arrest
Police now say new information suggests Cutnose believed Sanseverino was a paid informant and feared she might be arrested — providing a possible motive. Investigators reopened the cold case and determined there was sufficient evidence to take Cutnose into custody once again.
Next Steps
Cutnose is now facing charges related to the shooting, and the case will move forward through the court system. Tulsa County Sheriff's office have not released details about the new evidence but say the investigation is ongoing.
