Safety increase expected after Tulsa shootings

Tulsa mayor Monroe Nichols is expected to announce new safety measures as a result of a series of shooting recently downtown Tulsa. Including one last week that left one person dead and at least six others injured. A press conference is scheduled for 230 this afternoon. The mayor says he’s asked the police chief and public safety teams to intensify their efforts in downtown and across the city.
