Rural Oklahoma has a new healthcare issue: a lack of ambulance services. Change may be near, depending on a ruling from the Attorney General.
A pair of rural lawmakers are asking the Attorney General about the legality of using county sales tax money to pay for private ambulance services. A year ago, voters in Garvin County approved a proposition to use the tax money for that purpose, but because of the legal question, the money has never been spent.
