running for Okla County’s District1 Commissioner

Candidates running for Oklahoma County’s District 1 Commissioner are now known. They include State Representative Jason Lowe, former state lawmaker Anastasia Pittman, Midwest City Council member Sara Bana and Independent Jed Green. They seek to replace Carrie Blumert who resigned to take a job in Tulsa. The biggest challenge will be to navigate how to finance and locate a new county jail.
