Roy d. mercer comedy icon is remembered

What began at Tulsa Radio station KMOD as two-disc jockeys just being themselves and turned into a comedy marathon can still be found on YouTube.  But the voice behind prank caller Roy D Mercer has moved on to the Radio station in heaven.

Brent Douglas dumped a profitable career as a pharmacist to try Radio. A career lasted 27 years and produced comedy albums that have sold millions of copies.  Douglas passed away last week he was 69 years old.
