Former Governor, U.S. Senator and long-time president of the University of Oklahoma David Boren has died. The 83-year-old died at home surrounded by family. Boren served as governor from 1975 to 79, was a U.S. Senator from 1979 until 1994 and served as OU president from 1994 until 2018.
