The head of the Oklahoma Federation of Republican Women, Lorie Legere, says now is a good time for the Republican Party in the state of Oklahoma.
As the economy is strong and Oklahoma has several billion dollars in the bank, Legere says this is a good time for her Republican party to be in control.
“We have a very prosperous economic outlook for our state,” Legere said. “Everything is going very well right now.”
Legere says her group was not frustrated by the time required to reach an agreement on the education funding plan. She says she had confidence that lawmakers would do the right thing.
