Pope Leo the 14th has ties to Oklahoma

There are connections between the New Pope and Oklahoma.  The Oklahoman reports before he was Pope Leo the 14th, he was the leader of the Augustinian Order and was the head of a regional office that included Oklahoma.  As Cardinal Robert Prevost the new Pope served on the board of Directors of Directors of Cascia Hall Preparatory school in Tulsa, was one of the four original trustees of the schools foundation and attended the dedication of the school’s St. Augustine Hall in 1999.
