OTA Issues Warnings Regarding Text-Based Scam

Warning from the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority for drivers to be on the lookout for a new text-based scam. Known as a smishing scam, the scammers send a fake text to someone claiming they owe money. We spoke with OTA Public Information Manager Lisa Salim about what to look out for.

Luckily, the OTA says there have been no recorded cases in Oklahoma yet but warns drivers to be aware.
