OSU Campus Shooting Injures Three Near Carraker Hall
A shooting at Oklahoma State University sent three people to the hospital, prompting a large police response near Carraker Hall East in Stillwater. Campus police said several individuals from an off-campus party arrived at the dorm when the shooting began in a breezeway.
Victims Recover as Police Investigate
One victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds. The other two were shot once each. Two victims remain hospitalized, while the third was treated and released. Officers secured the area late into the night and are reviewing campus surveillance footage to identify the shooter.
Police believe the altercation stemmed from a dispute at a nearby gathering that escalated after several people returned to campus.
OSU and City Officials Respond
University officials released a statement reassuring students that safety remains their top priority. Counseling services and student support staff are available to anyone affected. Stillwater Police and OSU Police are jointly investigating. As of Friday morning, no arrests have been made.
