Oklahoma Works to Add Charging Stations for Electric Vehicles

The state of Oklahoma is taking the first steps to ensure plenty of electric vehicle charging stations are available. Oklahoma transportation leaders see a future where charging stations are no further apart than 50 miles.

“…going to be able to construct, operate and maintain those charging stations through key corridors…,” said Oklahoma Transportation Secretary Tim Gatz.

The request for proposals is open, and 66 million dollars in Federal grants will pay for the work.
