The Oklahoma Water Resources Board seeks public input as it works on a 50-year plan for the state.
The board will hold a series of seven meetings beginning August 15th in Altus. Board Director Owen Mills said the focus will be on the 2025 update to the state’s comprehensive water plan.
“This hasn’t been done before, at least not in Oklahoma, so I am curious how well it is received and if we get good participation,” Mills said.
Two of the seven meetings will be held virtually.
