El Reno Voters Consider $69 Million Plan

Voters across several Oklahoma communities head to the polls today to decide on critical school bond proposals that could shape education for decades.

In El Reno, the ballot includes a proposed $69 million bond under the 2025 Student Investment Plan. If approved, the plan will fund classroom expansions, new athletic facilities, and safety improvements across the district.

Other Districts Also Weigh Infrastructure Improvements

In Hinton, voters will decide on a $5.9 million bond to improve school infrastructure, including new roofs and HVAC systems. Other districts, such as Little Axe, Pond Creek, and Washington Public Schools, also have bond proposals for classroom and facility upgrades.

Local superintendents say the bond money will support growing enrollment and much-needed repairs that state funds can’t cover. Polls close at 7 p.m., and election results are expected later tonight.
